The essentials, minus the fluff

Very clean and comfortable hotel, with friendly staff who know English. The location is fantastic, mere minutes from the beach and ADO bus station. Rooms come equipped with a mini fridge and solid water pressure. Enjoy the small rooftop pool with a nice view. Perfect for a convenient and restful stay!

The rooftop pool offered breathtaking sunset views, making evenings unforgettable. Additionally, the warm, personalized touches from the staff, like creative towel designs, made us feel cherished during our stay.

The location is incredibly convenient for exploring Playa del Carmen.

Unfortunately, I found the shower pressure to be quite low, which was disappointing. Additionally, I noticed a lot of street noise at night that made it difficult to sleep. There were also issues with the hot water. on more than one occasion, there was barely any hot water available.

My stay at Hotel Los Itzaes By 5Th Av was wonderful! The staff were incredibly accommodating, promptly assisting with check-in and even remembering my previous visits. The cleanliness of the hotel and well-stocked rooms—with hot showers, a mini fridge, and Netflix—made for a comfortable experience.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, always eager to help with any inquiries. The room was pristine, featuring green plants that added a refreshing touch. I appreciated the mini fridge, which is great for keeping drinks cold. The city view from the balcony was delightful and provided a nice backdrop for relaxing evenings.

It's super close to the beach and ferry terminal. The staff was really friendly and the rooms were clean with great A/C. We enjoyed the rooftop pool too. Don't miss the nearby markets for cheap eats!

One hiccup was the hot water. It cut out on us a few times, so just know that might happen.

The hotel was a perfect base for my family of five, especially for our kids who loved the rooftop pool. We took trips to the nearby beach and enjoyed walking around Playa del Carmen. The staff made us feel at home with their friendly service.

In my wife’s opinion, the noise from the clubs nearby made it hard for the kids to sleep.
